We had the pleasure to interview Henry Goldbeck, the President of Goldbeck Recruiting, for our blog today. A very warm welcome to him and his amazing team from our behalf!

InHunt World: Welcome to our Network Henry! We are so excited to have a great brand like Goldbeck Recruiting join us. Can you introduce us to the company?

Henry: Thank you! We’re proud to have joined the network. Goldbeck is a leading Canadian executive recruitment firm, in operation since 1997. We work in a wide range of industries, placing emphasis on effectiveness, integrity, and customer service.

We strive to understand our clients’ value proposition and find candidates that truly meet their needs. In order to do this, we create a profile that reflects the candidate they’re looking for, and then search our vast network before presenting the best options.

We offer support to our clients throughout the process. This includes reference checks, background checks, onboarding, and even exit surveys. We bring to the table a big picture understanding of the labour market and share that expertise through learning resources and consultation.

InHunt World: Could you tell us a bit more about Goldbeck’s recruiting experience, Henry?

Firstly, we conduct an intake call with the client to fully understand what they’re looking for, and clarify their value proposition so we can hit the ground running with the candidate search.

Then, we take the feedback given by the client and create a profile for the ideal candidate for the position.

Our fantastic researchers sift through what is often over 1,000 profiles on available networks and databases to find potential candidates.

Once we have this list of potential candidates, our recruiters use their expertise to narrow it down even further to ensure only the most qualified leads remain.

The candidates we find that best fit your criteria are sent to the client for their feedback. This informs our ongoing search efforts and ensures that we are on the right track for the client.

This cycle continues until we find the best possible candidate for the client. Once one is selected, we further support the hiring process through references, background checks, and a job suitability profile to ensure success.
